Driving-type, Self-propelled, Hand-push, What do These Words Mean?

As you can see, in the title of our road marking machines, there are three high frequency words: driving-type, self-propelled, hand-push. For example, DY-BTSC driving-type thermoplastic screeding road marking machine, DY-SPT self-propelled thermoplastic screeding road marking machine, DY-HPT hand-push thermoplastic screeding road marking machine.

We use these three words to classify our products, according to the drive mode. Here are details about the specific meaning of these three words.

1. Driving-type

Picture 1, DY-BTSC

In Picture 1, there is a DY-BTSC driving-type thermoplastic screeding road marking machine. If you see a product, just like the DY-BTSC, there is a “ driving-type” in it’s title, which means that the operator can sit in the seat, with hands holding the steering wheel. The operator can drive the road marking machine just like driving a car.

2. Self-propelled

Picture 2, DY-SPT

In Picture 2, there is a DY-SPT self-propelled thermoplastic screeding road marking machine. You can clearly see that an engine is installed on this road marking machine. The engine can drive the wheels, bring the whole road marking machine automatically move forward. The operator only needs to hold the handle and control the direction, does not need to push the road marking machine.

3. Hand-push

Picture 3, DY-HPT

In Picture 3, there is a DY-HPT hand-push thermoplastic screeding road marking machine. DY-HPT looks much like with DY-SPT (in picture 2, self-propelled type). If you look closely, you will find the difference between them. There is no engine installed in the DY-HPT. So, DY-HPT must rely on the operator's hands and push it forward.
